How it works

An assistant set up with you, in four steps

You bring what your organization already knows. We bring the assistant, its configuration and its launch. Everything starts with an audit.

  1. 01

    Meeting and audit

We look together at the questions that keep coming back, the documents that already answer them, the systems the assistant will have to consult, and who in your team takes over when it does not know.

At the end of that meeting, you know what the assistant will do, what it will not do, and what the first version will look like.

    You
Your recurring questions, your documents, your tools.
    Us
What the assistant will do, what it will not do, and who takes over.
  2. 02

    Preparing your data

We gather what the assistant needs to know: texts, FAQ, documents, pages of your website. We sort, we shape, we file into knowledge spaces.

What it must not say does not go in. What changes often gets a review date.

    You
You open your pages, your FAQ, your documents to us.
    Us
We sort, shape and file. What must not be said does not go in.
  3. 03

    Configuring your assistant

Mission, tone, instructions, languages, allowed topics, greeting, channels: we build the assistant and test it with you, on your real cases, before a single visitor sees it.

If your systems must be consulted during a conversation, this is where we connect them, with your limits.

    You
You test it on your questions before it goes live.
    Us
We build the assistant, connect it to your tools and correct it with you.
  4. 04

    Publication

The assistant sits on your website or on its own page. Your team is trained on the shared inbox: pick up a conversation, reply, close it.

From day one, what is said leaves a trace: conversations, contacts, unanswered questions.

    You
Your team takes charge of the inbox.
    Us
The launch, then the suggestions and the new versions.

And then

  • Unanswered questions become knowledge suggestions that a manager validates in one click.
  • A new version is prepared, tested and published without touching the one that is running.
  • You keep control of everything: the knowledge, the instructions, the team, what the assistant remembers about people.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a developer to put the assistant on my website?
No. The assistant is added to your website through a snippet placed in it, or through a dedicated page, and KERN-IT takes care of it with you during set-up.
Who writes the assistant's knowledge?
You provide your pages, your FAQ, your guides and your documents; KERN-IT prepares them, reviews them with you and updates them every month. The assistant reads your website from day one.
How long does set-up take?
Everything starts with a one-hour audit. Then come the preparation of your data, the configuration of the assistant and the tests on your real cases, then publication; the duration depends on the level chosen and on your documents, and is set at the audit.
