Electrician

Quote requests arrive complete, with the answers to your questions

A charging point, bringing an installation up to standard, a consumer unit to replace: a KernChat assistant gives your price ranges, asks the questions you would ask on the phone and hands you a quote request ready to price.

A conversation, as your customers would see it

A charging point, a compliance upgrade, a fuse board to replace: quote requests arrive incomplete. The assistant asks the right questions and hands you a quote to prepare.

What remains

  • The prices and the common cases come from your services and your prepared answers.
  • A quote to prepare, already qualified: house, year, location, contact.
  • The question about the regional grant, asked three times this month, is proposed to you as an addition to the knowledge.

Elec Moreau Assistant

I would like a charging point for my car. Do you do that? How much does it cost?

Yes. An installed 11 kW charging point comes to between €1 400 and €1 900 excl. VAT depending on the distance to the fuse board. Is your meter single-phase or three-phase?

Services › Charging points

No idea. House from 2005 in Gembloux, the board is in the garage, the car will be out front.

A house from 2005 is often single-phase, which allows a 7.4 kW charging point. For a precise quote, a twenty-minute visit is enough. A name and a number, and I suggest a slot?

Prepared answers › Single or three-phase

Nadia Berger, 0486 44 33 22, mornings preferably.

Thank you. The quote is open with what you told me; Marc calls you tomorrow morning to set the visit.

Quote request created, with the conversation

Daily life as an electrician

Quote requests arrive incomplete: "How much for a charging point?", without the type of supply, the distance to the consumer unit or the year the house was built. You have to call back, ask the same questions, and some requests are not worth the trip.

What the assistant changes for you

  • The right questions are asked up front. Type of home, year built, single-phase or three-phase, where the consumer unit is: the assistant follows the list you give it
  • Your price ranges are shared. The customer knows the approximate price before contacting you, and you avoid trips to customers who find it too expensive
  • The quote request arrives ready to price. With the customer's answers and the full conversation
  • Recurring questions become answers. A frequent question left unanswered, such as a regional grant, is suggested to you as an addition to the knowledge base
  • Call-outs are handled separately. An urgent fault does not get lost among the quotes: it goes to the person you choose

The questions your customers ask most

The assistant answers from your services and price ranges. The fixed price and the assessment of compliance remain your responsibility.

  • How much does installing a charging point cost?
  • Is my supply single-phase or three-phase, and how can I find out?
  • Does my house need an electrical inspection before it can be sold?
  • The residual current device keeps tripping, what should I do?
  • Does my consumer unit need replacing?
  • Is there a grant for a charging point in my region?
  • How soon can you provide a quote?
  • Do you also install solar panels?

What to gather for a first version

  • Your services and price ranges for each type of work
  • The questions you ask on the phone to prepare a quote
  • Your service area and usual lead times
  • The safety instructions the assistant must repeat and the actions it must never ask a customer to take
  • The information on grants you want to share, with the date it was checked

What the assistant does not do

It never asks the customer to work on the electrical installation, gives no fixed price without your quote and does not assess whether an installation complies with regulations: that remains your job and your responsibility.

Where to start

The first version is built from your services, your price ranges, your area and the questions you ask on the phone; set-up is done with you. Plumbers and heating installers work with the same assistant.

The level that usually fits

In this sector, most organizations start at the Assistant level. The one-hour audit confirms it or suggests another.

Frequently asked questions

Can an AI assistant prepare a quote request for an electrician?
Yes. A KernChat assistant asks the questions you planned (type of home, year built, single-phase or three-phase supply, where the consumer unit is), gives your price ranges and passes you a complete request with the conversation. The quote itself stays yours.
Does the assistant give fixed prices?
It gives the ranges you wrote and explains that a fixed price needs a visit or your quote. It never invents a price: without the information, it says so and passes the question on.
Can the assistant discuss regional grants?
Yes, if it has information you have checked, with its date: grants change often and differ between regions. Without current information, it refers the customer to the region's official website or to you.
